ポエムとポエトリーの違い difference between poem and poetry
詩といえば、ポエムですが
誌といえば、ポエム。
ポエムといえば、詩。
と思っていたのですが、考えてみればポエトリーという表現もありますね。
どこが違うんだろう？
ポエムが詩なのは、いいとして、
ポエトリーは詩文学？
分からないなあ。自信ない。
というわけで、調べてみました。

となっていますが、どうでしょう？
上記の定義ですと、ポエムは最終的な作品そのものを指し、
ポエトリーは、詩作のプロセスを指すというようにもとれます。
ほかの定義もみてみましょう。
オックスフォード ラーナーズ ディクショナリー(Oxford Learner's Dictionaries)によれば
poem：
a piece of writing in which the words are chosen for their sound and the images they suggest, not just for their obvious meanings. The words are arranged in separate lines, usually with a repeated rhythm, and often the lines rhyme at the end.
明白な意味だけでなく、その音やイメージのために言葉が選ばれている文章のことである。単語は別々の行に並べられ、通常はリズムが繰り返され、行の終わりで韻を踏むことが多い。

ポエトリーは、ポエムのジャンルということでしょうか。
ポエトリーの方は不可算名詞ですね。
どうもよくわかりません
私の勝手な解釈としては、ポエムは作品そのものを示し、
ポエトリーは詩文のジャンルを示しているのかと思っていましたが。
