Shelley : Yeah, um...so, okay, so I want to really talk about you write for other artists as well, or is that...

Sivan : I've done a bit of that, yeah.

Shelley : You've done a bit of that, I mean, you wrote a song for BTS?
シェリー：たとえば、BTSに、歌を提供されたことがあるわね？
Sivan : Yes.

Shelley : Pretty major.

Sivan : Pretty major, yeah.

Shelley : How does something like that happen, and are there other artists that you'd like love to write for?
シェリー：どういうきっかけだったのかしら。ほかにも、歌を書いてみたいアーティストはいるの？
Sivan : Yeah, that one was so fun. I mean, it was so in that particular case. I actually wrote the song for myself, and um... for whatever reason, I don't remember, which album we wrote it for, I think, it was for 'Blue Neighborhood ' like my first album, um... and for whatever reason, it didn't make the album.I think, like story-wise, it didn't align with how I felt anymore about you know a specific situation.
シヴァン：そう、とても楽しかった。あのときはね。あの曲は、自分のために書いたものなんだ。えっと…理由はどうであれ、どのアルバムのために書いたかは覚えていないけど、たしか「Blue Neighborhood」のために書いたんだっけ。 何らかの理由で、アルバムには収録されなかった曲なんだ。なにか、特別な理由で書いた曲というよりはね。
Sivan : And so, I was just like, had it in my laptop and didn't know what to do with it, and then, I get this, um... email saying that BTS wants to cut it, and it had been years since I wrote that song, and of course, like the rest of the entire planet, I'm like a fan, and I was so excited, so, um... and then hearing them on it is just like awesome.
シヴァン： えーっと...それで、その曲をラップトップに入れてたんだけど、どうすればいいのか分からなかった。その後、BTSがカットしたいという内容のメールが来たんだ。その曲を書いてから何年も経っていたけどね。そしてもちろん、地球上のみんなと同じように、ぼくもファンだから、とても興奮したんだ。そして、BTSがこの曲を歌ってくれるのを聴くのは、本当に素晴らしかった。
Sivan : So I really I love doing that, and I really love writing in the room with other artists as well like you know, just being there, and kind of it's so fun, because, when you know, when I'm writing for myself, I know my voice, and I know what I can do and what I can't and whatever. And then, I'm like in with a girl let's say who's like got the this crazy voice that can sing things that I could never in a million years sing makes it really fun.(To be continued to part5)

Troye Sivan has announced details of a huge UK and European tour for 2024.
The tour is in support of Sivan’s acclaimed album ‘Something To Give Each Other’, which was released back in October. The record – Sivan’s first in five years – scored the Australian a glowing five-star review from Nick Levine for NME. Levine wrote: “It’s a strikingly vital pop album charged with love, lust, sweat and regret. You won’t need a bosh of poppers to feel thoroughly intoxicated.”
Hailed by The Guardian as "one of this year's best and most distinctive pop albums" and celebrated by Rolling Stone as "a pristine slice of pop heaven," the Something to Give Each Other Tour is destined to be Sivan 's biggest, boldest and brightest tour.
Sivan’s 17-date run will begin in Portugal on May 29, 2024, before continuing throughout Europe. Sivan arrives in the UK on June 22 at the Manchester AO Arena; the tour will conclude in Birmingham.Tickets for the shows go on sale on December 8 at 9am.

※Around age 18, secure in his identity, Sivan set the stage for his life to come with two videos: In May 2013, he posted an original song, inspired by the young adult best-seller The Fault in Our Stars, and in August, he came out to his followers. Both videos went viral. And then, so did he. Time magazine named him one of the 25 most influential teens of 2014. He walked in Hedi Slimane’s fall 2015 Saint Laurent menswear show. By 2016, he had over 4 million YouTube subscribers and was reportedly making upwards of six figures in sponsorships. “At that point,” he says, “I was just along for the ride.”

Sivan’s eight-minute, 17-second coming-out video is a rare thing, equal parts star power and vulnerable humanity. He had promised himself he would come out before signing a record deal, knowing it was the only way he could write music that would be completely honest. When pressed, he now says he briefly wondered if it might have lost him some young, infatuated female fans, but he “had no other choice.
